PADUCAH, KY (Dec. 11, 2020) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of U.S. 68-Business/Canton Road at the west edge of downtown Cadiz on Monday, December 14, 2020.
This Monday closure is to allow a continuation of work to remove drift from beneath the Little River Bridge. Some of the debris removal work is being completed while the roadway is open. However, positioning of equipment to facilitate the work on Monday will require the roadway to be closed from approximately 7 a.m., CST, to about 4 p.m.
U.S. 68-Business/Canton Road will be closed at mile point 1.61 in downtown Cadiz immediately west of the KY 139/South Road intersection.
There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via the west end of U.S. 68-Business to U.S. 68 and KY 139/South Road. Local access will be maintained for businesses and homes between the Little River Bridge and KY 1175.
