Also joining us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program was Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 1. He said the roadwork is continuing on the Highway 641 project in Benton and a new R-Cut project in Hardin is in the works to help eliminate crashes in that area. Todd says work continues on I-24, while paving projects are winding down in the area and will open back up in March. He says crews are already prepared for the possible winter weather ahead with salt and some new equipment that can plow 2 lanes at one time.
