Sonoma Lamb, 75

Sonoma “Sam” Lamb, 75, born April 22, 1945, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.

She is survived by two sisters, Joann Thornton Owen, Judy Thornton Wall; one brother, Ronnie Joseph Thornton and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lamb, whom she married on September 21, 1968, as well as her mother, Murrell Outland Thornton; her father, Joseph Conn Thornton; her brother, Robert Mason Thornton and her sister, Margaret Thornton Camp.

Sonoma was a member of Blood River Baptist Church and was a children’s sunday school teacher for many years. She will be remembered most of all for being a follower of Christ and loving others.

A private graveside service will be held by Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Blood River Cemetery. Joe Pat Winchester will officiate and pallbearers will be Shane Wall, Josh Wall, Ronnie Thornton, Robert Thornton, Tony McClure and Clint Lester.
