Tuesday’s 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-15) win over Mayfield made Senior Night for the Lady Marshals eight seniors that much sweeter and extends their current win-streak to four. They improve to 6-2 while the JV Lady Marshals are undefeated.
“Senior night could not have gone more perfectly”, Head Coach Laura Kinder said. “Our seniors played their hearts out. We were thrilled just to make it to senior night, but to see them play the way they did was very special. These girls have been through more in four years than any teenager should have to go through, so it made us happy to see them excel tonight.”

Bailey Pritchett: 2 aces
At Graves County last Thursday, following the JV 2-0 win, the varsity squad continued the shutout night with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-22) win over the Lady Eagles.
“The JV team is playing tremendously right now”, Coach Kinder said. “They are undefeated, and they just keep getting better. Our varsity team has gotten on a hot streak, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they are playing. Every player is stepping up.”
Halle Langhi led in kills with 22 followed by Clara Bradley and Alyssa McClain with seven. Peyton Gresham had 38 assists. Bailey Pritchett led in digs with 12, Langhi had nine, Bradley seven, Ashley Bremmerkamp seven and Gresham six.
They play a home game tonight (Oct. 1) against Calloway County, JV game starts at 5:00 followed by the varsity game.
