Marshall County soccer teams played an important district double-header at Graves County Thursday. With the shortened soccer schedule and only one game with each district opponent, teams are already at the halfway point of their regular schedule.

Four goals in the first half for the Marshals was good for a 4-0 victory and they remain undefeated at 6-0. Graves County goalkeeper, Juan Garcia, saved the first potential goal off the foot of William Lynch and his initial save of the Marshals next shot on goal rebounded out and booted in the net by Kiefer Court for the 1-0 lead, eight minutes into the game.

The followed three first half goals came from Lynch off an assist by Pratik Patel, Logan Davis following a corner kick and the fourth goal off the foot of Eric Hicks following a corner. The Marshals controlled the first half, taking 14 shots, seven on goal and holding the Eagles to just two shots.

For the game, they took 21 shots, 12 on goal and keeper Ben Burkeen had four saves. The Eagles (0-3) had six shots, two on goal and Garcia had eight saves.
