(Western Kentucky)-The tradition of CFSB’s Watermelon Bust continues! While the Watermelon Bust was canceled due to the global pandemic, budgeted money for the event was donated to foodbanks in all CFSB markets. Some of these donations took the form of monetary donations, while other pantries preferred watermelons from local farmers.
CFSB President Jason Jones said, “We wanted to show our commitment to the communities that we serve. We know that our area foodbanks have been hit hard these past few months. Our Team is excited that we can still find ways to help out!
