Benton Golf and Country Club was host to the Marshall County Exceptional Center Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, an event that has been supporting the center for over 40 years.
Registrations were up 30 percent this year with 108 participants teeing off in a shotgun start at 1 p.m. following the traditional ceremonial first tee shot by Tyler Dotson.
Cash and prizes were up for grabs including Tyler D’s Par 3 Challenge where a hole-in-one wins the pot as well as a chance to win a 7-night Caribbean cruise. Corporate sponsors, hole sponsors and registration fees all go to benefit the MCEC that is set to welcome everyone back on Monday.
