
On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at approximately 3:09 PM, McCracken County Sheriff Deputies and Drug Division Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a blue Hyundai Elantra passenger car, for registration violations, on Bridge Street.
During the course of the investigation, the passenger of the vehicle, Joshua L. Smith, 42, of Paducah, was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. A search of the vehicle revealed a Methamphetamine smoking pipe.
As the investigation continued, it was determined that as the traffic stop was being initiated, the operator, Amanda L. Alvey, 41, of Paducah, retrieved the Methamphetamine, which was hidden on her person, and gave it to Smith to hide.
Both Smith and Alvey were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail, where they were lodged.

On Friday, June 5, 2020, at approximately 12:55 PM, McCracken County Sheriff Deputies and Drug Division Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a red 2006 Honda Civic passenger car, for traffic violations, in the 600 block of Oaks Road.
During the course of the traffic stop, the operator, Jamie D. Langston, 39, of Paducah, was found to be in possession of a Methamphetamine smoking pipe, which contained Methamphetamine.
The front seat passenger, Raeann D. Naughton, 29, of Calvert City, was found to be in possession of a small amount of both Marijuana and Methamphetamine along with items of drug paraphernalia, such as digital scales containing illegal drug residue.
The two backseat passengers, Richard “Chance” Sidener, 31, of Paducah, and Jacob E. Feltner, 19, of Paducah, were found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. In addition, Feltner was found to be in possession of Marijuana Wax, Suboxone, and a Marijuana Wax smoking device.
It was determined when the traffic stop was being initiated, both Feltner and Naughton attempted to hide some of the contraband to avoid being caught with it.
All four individuals were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail, where they were lodged.
Once at the jail and during a more thorough search, Deputy Jailers located two baggies of Methamphetamine concealed on Langston’s person.
