PADUCAH, Ky. (April 20, 2020) — The following statement is being shared on behalf of the Cave-in-Rock Ferry:
To better protect our passengers and crew, riders are asked to stay in their vehicles and avoid contact with crew members while they are on the Cave-in-Rock Ferry. While our deckhands are a friendly bunch and normally willing to chat as they have time during the crossing, COVID-19 social distancing guidelines mandate that our crew have minimal contact with passengers.
To enhance the safety of our crew, and for your own safety, please remain in your vehicle while you are on the ferry.
A sign has been posted on the ferry deck as a reminder. It will remain in place until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
Thanks for your understanding.
