Kentucky Lake Chamber shares resources available for businesses and community

Your Chamber is committed to helping our member and non-member businesses and community during this pandemic. News and resources are being shared everyday and we are trying our best to decipher and share those with you without overloading you. Signage – The state is requesting that all public businesses that are remaining open post the attached sign at all entrances. Our local health department has been going around and supplying these, but if they haven’t caught up with you then you can do this yourself. Here is the sign.

SBA Disaster Loans – It is anticipated that within 48 hours the Commonwealth of Kentucky will be approved for the (EIDL) Economic Injury Disaster Loan. Here is the Overview, Loan Application (Sole Proprietors MUST select the EIDL Loan Option) Financial Statement form and IRS Form you will need to fill out, It is recommended that small business owners begin working on these forms. That way when Kentucky is “certified” on the disaster website, they can immediately submit their applications and get in the queue. Unemployment Insurance Instructions – Instructions have been issued regarding how employees should file for unemployment. Unemployment Insurance claims must be filed on a specific day of the week based on the first letter of your last name. Go to Here Click for the schedule.
