What can you bring?
The following items are accepted from Marshall County residents during regular hours at any of the 9 transfer stations and at the main station: Household garbage (in bags) in the green dumpsters, Recyclable items such as plastic drink bottles, paper and aluminum cans in the recycling trailers, Cardboard boxes in the designated trailers, Small containers of Motor oil in designated areas.
The following items are accepted from Marshall County residents during regular hours at the MAIN STATION ONLY, not at transfer stations: Scrap metal, appliances, furniture, electronics, carpet, toilets, bathtub, single doors, Brush and limbs (no contractors), 5 tires per day (no tire dealers).
The following items are accepted AT THE MAIN STATIONS ONLY AND ONLY ON FALL/SPRING CLEANUP DAY: Building materials such as lumber, OSB board type material, shingles, sheetrock, vinyl siding and large amounts of tile (no contractors), Unlimited number of tires (no tire dealers).
None of the transfer stations or main station will accept paint, fuel, glass, boats, seadoos or any hazardous chemicals or materials at any time.
Regular Hours of Operation: Main Station – Monday thru Friday 7 am – 4:30 pm, Saturday 8 am – 4:30 pm.
Regular Hours of Operation: Transfer Stations – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 6 am – 6 pm.
