Mrs. Sheila Hester Langston, age 73, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at her residence.
She was a member of Cross Ministry Church, a homemaker and former owner of James R. Langston Trucking.
Mrs. Langston is survived by three sons, Randy (Sharon) Langston, Brian (Angie) Langston and Darrell (Wendy) Langston all of Mayfield, KY; two brothers, David Hester of Charleston, SC and Ray Courtney of Hazel, KY; three sisters, Sylvia Smith of Mayfield, KY, Faye Floyd of Mayfield, KY and Kay Powell of Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. “Chunky” Langston; one daughter, Cynthia Renae Langston; one granddaughter, Heather Kay Taber; and her parents, Aubrey and Obeda Keeling Hester.
Graveside services for Mrs. Sheila Hester Langston will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at New Liberty Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Langston will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Chancey Webster, Paul Taber, Bryce Rodgers, Jacob Hendley, Brandon Duran, Larry Imus, Gary Ellegood and Tony Seavers.
There is no visitation scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
