Barbara Helfer, 77, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:20 P.M. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Barbara was born November 8, 1942 in Melber, Kentucky to Bondree and Genevieve Courtney. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed dancing. She will be remembered for her generous heart and love for people.
Mrs. Helfer is survived by her daughter, Deborah Mollica, of Paducah; her grandchildren, Sydney Dickson, Mark Dickson, Tana Davidson and William Ray Helfer, III; her great grandchildren, Erika Loflin and Cloey Loflin.
Mrs. Helfer was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, William Ray Helfer, Sr.; her son William Ray Helfer, Jr; her parents, Bondree Courtney and Genevieve Lampkin Courtney; her brother, Joe Courtney.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2020 at Hebron Cemetery in Lowes, Kentucky with Rev. Frank Queen officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-12:45 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
