Janet Gupton Carner, age 67, of Princeton, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at her home.
Janet was of the Christian Faith and loved cooking, working in her gardens, mowing the yard and letting others know “how it is.”
She is survived her husband of 19 years, Mike Carner of Princeton; two sons, Brian Gupton of Louisville, Brad Gupton and wife, Leah of Princeton, two step-daughters, Mandi Eison of Princeton, Hollie Still of Crestwood; one sister, Betty Jo Laffoon of Dawson Springs; five grandchildren, Bailey Wood, Xavier Eison, Jameson Gupton, Larkin Still, Finley Still; several nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Michael Gupton; parents, Jack P. Higgins and Ruby Brown Higgins; infant daughter, Lisa Gupton; one brother, Wayne Wagner.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. John Benton officiating. Burial will be held at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs at a later date.
