Lady Eagles, Eagles split Ballard and Livingston games

Christian Fellowship’s Eagles improved their record to 11-7 this week following wins over Ballard Memorial 56-44 and Livingston Central 70-59. The Lady Eagles dropped a close game to Ballard 49-47 and again to Livingston Central 63-56 to fall to 9-10 on the season.

Andrew Allen led CFS with 21 points and was 11/13 from the free throw line in the Eagles win over Ballard Memorial on Tuesday. Mikey Bivin added nine points and Andrew Dunning eight along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Ballard Memorial was led by Dequin Donlow with 17 points and Brady Parrott with 11.

Allen scored 23 points to lead the Eagles over Livingston Central on Thursday. Dunning and Ari Phillips were also in double-figures with 12 points each. Allen was 8/11 and Luke Grigg 5/6 from the free throw line.

The Lady Eagles lost a close one to Ballard by two points. They were led by Gracie Howard with 21 points and Lillian Burnett with 12. Howard was 7/10 in free throws and led with 14 rebounds. CFS led at the end of the first three quarters but were out-scored by the Lady Bombers 16-8 in the fourth to fall 49-47.

Four Lady Eagles were in double-figures in their win over Livingston Central led by Howard with 18, Burnett 14, Jayden Jackson 11 and Renee Shields 10. Howard completed the double-double with 10 rebounds. Lauren Wring scored half of the Lady Cardinal’s points with 32 followed by Kerah Davidson with 14. Wring and Davidson each had 12 rebounds for Livingston Central.
