Lady Eagles, Eagles sweep Carroll Academy and Pleasant View Christian

Jayden Jackson combined for 25 points in the Lady Eagles wins over Carroll Academy and Pleasant View Christian.

Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles and Eagles swept double-headers Friday and Saturday and both teams earned their ninth win of the season, the Lady Eagles improving to 9-8 and the Eagles 9-7. Both teams are on track to have their best seasons in at least 10 years with plenty of games left on the schedule. The most wins recorded by the Eagles in the past 10 seasons came in 2017-2018 when they finished 13-15. The Lady Eagles are just one win away from equaling their best record over the last decade when they finished 10-17 last season.

Friday in Huntingdon, Tenn., the Lady Eagles beat Carroll Academy 54-35 behind a big night from Gracie Howard with 32 points. Howard was also perfect from the free throw line hitting 6/6. Renee Shields scored eight points and Jayden Jackson had eight points and 10 rebounds.
