Terry Edwin Phelps, 80, of Marshall County went to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Phelps; two daughters, Sabrina George and husband Greg, Jennifer Phelps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lela Phelps; one sister, Imogen Pantels; infant daughter, Carol Phelps.
He was a long-time employee of LWD Disposal Services in Calvert City, KY, a member of Faith Apostolic Church of Calvert City. Mr. Phelps did service for the Lord for 39 years pastoring several churches.
Funeral services will be held at Hughes Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 with Forrest Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Dees Cemetery in Calvert City officiated by Raymond Conner.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
