Charles Martin Riggs Jr, 69, of Benton, KY passed away at 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Marshall County Hospital.
Chuck was born in Paducah, KY on March 8, 1950 to Charles Riggs Sr. and Marie Houser Riggs. He was retired Kentucky State Trooper and later went on to work as the security officer at Marshall County High School.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Beth Conder Riggs; two daughters, Holly R. David and Emily R. Flowers; one son, Casey Riggs and wife Adrienne; his parents Charles Riggs Sr. and Marie Houser Riggs; three sisters, Linda Cissell and husband Paul, Nancy Danneker and husband Joe, and Saundra Keeling; one brother, Jimmy Riggs and wife Anita; and six grandchildren, Alexis Monet Flowers, Isaiah Johnathan Flowers, Jackson Alexander David, Lily Dawn Riggs, Raylan Martin Riggs, and Owen Reed Riggs.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
