Joining Chris Freeland on WCBL’s Coffee Call program was Marshall County Attorney Jason Darnell. There has been a lot of talk lately about the proposal by the Marshall County Fiscal Court to make the county a sanctuary county to protect the right of citizens to bear arms. As county attorney, Darnell’s job is to ensure the rule of the law is being followed and although he says he is not opposed to what the fiscal court is trying to do, his job is to make sure it is done in a legal manner.
