Nancy Lynette Carter, 83, of Bardwell, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019.
Nancy was born on February 7, 1936 in Las Vegas, Nevada to the late Herman C. Oden and Edith Wright Schutt. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Donald Geiser, of Bardwell; two daughters, Linda Peters of Camimo, California, Deborah Ringnes of Pollock Pines, California; four sisters, Nadine Chapius of Sequim, Washington, Linda Berkshire of San Juan Capistrano,… California, Kathy Albright of Las Vegas, Nevada, Marijo Sechrist of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Jim Oden of Overton, Nevada, Gary Oden of Pahrump, Nevada; two grandchildren, William Mattox, Christopher Ringnes; one great-grandchild, Stanley Mattox.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Johnson and Toni Hightower, her stepmother, Joan M. Hope Oden, stepfather, Owen Schutt, and her parents.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Burkley Cemetery with Rev. Jim Smith officiating.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
