Closure on U.S. 60 in Crittenden County starting at 5:00 p.m. tonight

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct 3, 2019) – The City of Marion plans to close a section of U.S. 60/Main Street through Downtown Marion in Crittenden County starting at 5 p.m., CDT, TONIGHT, Thursday, October 3, 2019.

U.S. 60/Main Street will be closed from Gum Street at the intersection with U.S. 641 at mile point 9.2 extending eastward to the intersection with First Street at mile point 9.65 to allow the Crittenden County High School Homecoming Parade to pass through town.

This section of U.S. 60/Main Street in Marion will be blocked for approximately 45 minutes for the parade.

There will be no marked detour.  Passenger vehicles may self-detour via side streets.  There is no practical detour available for commercial trucks.

The Marion Police Department, Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department, and Crittenden County Rescue Squad will provide traffic control.
