Mr. Richard Holt Akers Sr., 72, of Puryear, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.
Mr. Akers was born on April 12, 1947 in Flatwoods, KY to the late Richard and Dorothy Holt Akers. He served his country in the United States Airforce and was a Master Sergeant in Vietnam.
Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Antoinette Kelley Akers of Puryear; three sons, Richard Holt Akers, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Michael Allen Akers (Kate) of Leesburg, VA, Brian Lee Clark (Misty) of Arlington, TX and two daughters, Heather Lea Akers of Tampa, FL, Lacey Michelle Lagerhausen (Tim) of Woodstock, IL.
