On Friday, August 2, 2019 at 7:26 am Laura Lee Wallace of Rosiclare, IL passed awaypeacefully at Livingston Hospital in Salem, KY surrounded by her loving family.
Born in 1933 to Spence and Arzilla Bayne, Laura Lee lived a life dedicated to her family and adoring husband of 55 years. Her greatest joy in life was sharing time with them. As the matriarch, she guided her family with a quiet strength, strong faith, and unconditional love. She greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and kind heart.
Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Wallace, a brother, and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Richard) Pease of Rosiclare and son Mark (Deborah) Wallace of Rosiclare. She has three grandchildren; Jennifer (Ryan) Mitchell of Newnan, GA, Derek (Jessica) Pease of Augusta, GA, and Jessica (Daniel) Headlam of Rosiclare. She also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A burial service with family is planned on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 1:00pm at Cave Hill Cemetery with Rev. Stan Pennell officiating. Following burial services extended family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of life dinner from 2-4pm at the Golden Circle in Elizabethtown, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, www.11s.org.
