Roma Dell Morris, age 78, of Benton, KY, died Saturday, July 27, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was also a volunteer at the New to You Shop in Benton.
She was the daughter of the late Hershel Jones and the late Myrtle (Howard) Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Franklin Lee Morris, one brother: Tullus Jones; two sisters: Frances Henson and Ruby Woods: and a special friend: Tony Smith.
She is survived by one daughter: Kandis Jordan and husband Michael of Benton, KY; three sons: Ricky Morris and wife Debbie, Kevin Morris and wife Joy, and Tim Morris and wife Pam all of Benton, KY: nine grandchildren: Dalton Morris, Mallory Langston, Brandon Morris, Whitney Morris, Lindsey Howard, Dylan Morris, Emily Hurley, Abby Morris, and Karissa Jordan, and eleven great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 29, 2019. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 30, 2019, with Rev. Tim Cole officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Benton, KY.
