There are two very talented North Marshall Middle School students that will be competing this Saturday in Nashville at the Music City Center in the National Archery in Schools Program’s Open Championship where approximately 15,000 students will be competing in various divisions! Maci West and Christian Jones will both be 8th Graders this year at NMMS and have qualified for the competition. Their parents take them to numerous competitions and weekly practices to hone in on their skills, which is definitely paying off! Once they get to the high school level of competition, they will be looking at Scholarship offers along with their trophies and plaques that they earn from each competition.
Maci will be competing in the Bullseye division in her age group and is currently ranked 5th in the State of Kentucky and 15th Nationally!
Christian will be competing in both Bullseye and 3-D divisions. In Bullseye he is currently ranked 11th in the State of Kentucky and 69th Nationally, and in 3-D he is 13th in the State of Kentucky and 72nd Nationally!
Please join me in wishing these Archers GOOD LUCK this weekend in Nashville!
