Mrs. Betty Hargrove, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky died at 2:35pm Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Spring Creek Health & Rehab.
Mrs. Hargrove was born June 21, 1935 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Gladys Garland and Henry Austin Kimbro. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Marcus Hargrove; daughter, Teresa Gail Hargrove; sisters, Shirley Vaughn and Elizabeth Wiggins; and brother, Elvin Garland. She retired from Westview Nursing Home and was a member of the Dexter Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Farris (Bill); sons, Kenny Hargrove, Ricky Hargrove, and Steve Hargrove (Carrie); brother, Lewis Garland; sister, Hilda Jones; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00am Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
