Benton Wal-Mart Online Grocery Pickup Starts TODAY!

I don’t know about everyone else, but I am EXTREMELY excited that our very own Benton Wal-Mart now has Grocery Pickup! Today is their official first day…while they may be having a few hiccups due to a nation wide technical problem, they are handling everything quite well like nothing is wrong!

During their ribbon cutting at 10am this morning, they will be presenting checks for funds they have raised over the past few weeks leading up to the grand opening!  The donations are a follows: Marcella’s Kitchen $4,000; Sharpe Elementary School $500; Calvert City Elementary School $500; Marshall County Rescue Squad $1,500.

If you have never used Wal-Mart Grocery Pickup, do yourself a favor and try it out!  You can order from your computer or download the Wal-Mart Grocery App (the Orange Wal-Mart App).  You order your groceries and other items that you would normally get at Wal-Mart and choose a pickup time, when your groceries are ready you will be notified either by email or text and can check in via the app on your way to the store or you can wait until you get parked at the store and call the phone number on the designated pickup parking spot.  An associate will appear shortly with your groceries and load them in your vehicle for you!  You never have to get out of your vehicle.
