Clora Don (Rhew) Doom, 87, a lifelong resident of Paducah, died at 4:11 pm on March 27, 2019 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY.
Mrs. Doom was a retired member of the Seafarers International Union, where she worked as a steward cook for the Orgulf Transport Company until 1998, and was a member of Oaks Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Doom (Jennifer) of Frankfort, KY and Douglas Doom-Carrington (Mary) of Glen Ellyn, IL. Two brothers, Phillip… Rhew (Mary Ann), and Michael Rhew, both of Paducah. Two grandchildren, Ryan Doom and Ashley Doom, and one great grandchild, Owen DeVinney, all of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Ira Rhew, and a brother, Sherrill Rhew.
Graveside service and burial will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at Clarks River Cemetery in Symsonia; Rev. Richard Dobbs will officiate.
Immediately following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Oaks Church of God, 4830 Oaks Road, Paducah.
