Mr. Glendon Lofton, age 83 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was a retired truck driver and member of Oak Valley Church of Christ.
Born Tuesday, October 15, 1935 in Marshall County, KY, he was the son of the late Joe Lofton and the late Lucille (English) Lofton.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Nadine (Weatherford) Lofton of Benton, KY, daughter, Lisa Hale of Paducah, KY, brothers, Vernon Lofton, Wendell Lofton, Randall Lofton, Weldon Lofton, Billy Lofton, Charles Lofton, Wayne Lofton, sisters, Wanda Faye Jones, Jocile Hendrickson all of Benton, KY, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lucian Lofton and Dwight “Ikey” Lofton.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens located at Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Jeremy Short officiating.
