Pothole Patching Crew working along I-24 EASTBOUND from 2-17mm starting at noon today

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will have a crew patching potholes along I-24 EASTBOUND through McCracken County starting at NOON TODAY.

The crew will be working along I-24 from the 2 to about the 17 mile marker. This moving work caravan will move traffic to the left-hand or passing lane to allow work along the driving lane. There are several potholes that will require the crew to work in the same spot for an extended period.

This will be a moving work caravan.  Motorists should be alert for trucks with arrow boards directing traffic to shift lanes to facilitate the work.

This crew is expected to be patching potholes along I-24 from approximately 12 Noon through about 3:00 p.m., CST, TODAY.

The crew will mainly be working in the driving lane with traffic moved to the left-hand or passing lane. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this mobile work caravan.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
