Helen Irene Williams Kost, 100, of Benton , Kentucky passed away Saturday morning December 15, 2018, surrounded by her children.
Helen was a member of Impact Church and formerly worked as a seamstress. Her priority in life was to care for her family which she loved more than anything else. She had a great love for playing dice, playing games and reading. She lived her life to the fullest.
She leaves behind her three children and their spouses, Kenneth Kost Jr and Linda Hunter of Suwanee, GA; Sharon Truskosky of Danville, IL and Onna Lee Ford and Roger of Benton, KY; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Hazel Andrews of New Lenox, IL and Lillian Peevler of Panoma, CA; several nieces and several nephews, along with her wonderful caregivers, Pat Powell, Sheila Collins and Angela Peeler.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Kenneth R. Kost, her mother, Pearl May Smith Dunn; stepfather, William Dunn; four brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Impact Church , 337 Flatt Road , Benton , Kentucky 42025 . Pastor Chris Young and Associate Pastor Kevin Penick will officiate. .
