Mrs. Betty Wanda Hibbs, age 86 of Benton, KY died on Sunday, November 18, 2018, 1:45 p.m. at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY, surrounded by family.
Born Thursday, June 2, 1932 in Madisonville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Buhler Willis and the late Margaret (Kyle) Henry.
Francis and Betty were married November 13, 1945 in Morganfield, KY. He preceded her in death October 8, 2012. They were members of Sharpe Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mary Bohleber of Evansville, IN, Linda Sledd of Reidland, KY, sons, Stanley Ray Hibbs of Benton, KY, Hugh Hibbs of Calvert City, KY, Larry Hibbs of Symsonia, KY, Roger Hibbs of Benton, KY, brother, Pierce Willis of Madisonville, KY, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Lee Willis, daughter Judy Vied and 2 infant great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025.
Interment will follow in New Hope Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
