The South Marshall Middle School archery team has received a grant in the amount of $2,096.44 from Friends of NRA and the NRA Foundation.
The grant consists of six Morrell NASP Bag Targets, three dozen Easton arrows, one Adventure Medical Bighorn Sportsman Series First Aid Kit, four 10’x10’ BCY Arrow Curtains, and a monetary award of $235 designated to purchase a NASP arrow bag.
The grant will be used for teaching National Archery in the Schools Program target style Archery during school hours, and also after hours with the SMMS Archery Team. The new equipment will allow double the archers to participate at one time.
The NRA Foundation is helping SMMS Archery support the future of the shooting sports.
