The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to CLOSE a section of KY 1741 during daylight hours in CARLISLE County TODAY & TUESDAY, October 22 & 23, 2019.
This daytime closure of KY 1741 at milepoint 2.194 in Carlisle County is to allow erosion control work around the the Truman Creek Branch Culvert. Riprap will have to hand placed at the site. This will require equipment and trucks needed to facilitate the work to block the roadway at this location.
This clousre is along KY 1741 between KY 123 and KY 1022.
Work at this site is expected to start at 8:30 a.m.,CDT, each day. KY 1741 is expected to reopen around 3:00 p.m. each day.
There will be no marked detour.
