Mrs. Sharon Farley Colson, age 72, of Murray , Kentucky , died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Colson was born December 22, 1945 in Murray , Kentucky to the late O.B. Farley and Rovine Parker Farley Tyler. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, as she was a self-taught seamstress. Mrs. Colson was retired from Kroger after 18 years of service. She was also a member of Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church .
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis M. Colson; brother, Terry Allbritten.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Roberts and husband David of Murray, Kentucky and Margaret Johnson and husband Dennis of Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Burnietta Jackson of Paris, Tennessee; two brothers, Burnette Farley and wife Maxine of Paducah, Kentucky and Mike Farley and wife Debbie of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tim Roberts, Wesley Roberts and wife Sarah, Audrey Elliott and husband Drew all of Murray, Kentucky and Sabrina Sams and husband Curtis of Cunningham, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Abigail Sams, Kinlee Sams, Hudson Sams all of Cunningham, Kentucky, Ethan Roberts and Anna Kate Roberts both of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Darrell Young will officiate, and burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery . Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
