Mrs. Brenda “Kay” Hopkins, age 68 of Hardin, KY died on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at her home. She was born Tuesday, December 13, 1949 in Ragland, West Virginia.
Surviving are her mother, Betty (Dryer) Thompson of Wyndot, MI, sons, Mark Douglas Hopkins of Hardin, KY and Donald Gene Hopkins of Hardin, KY; 7 brothers, 1 sister, 5 grand children, Kyle Hopkins, Markie Hopkins, Shannon Hopkins, Brianna Hopkins, Ethan Hopkins; and 3 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Thompson Jr., and husband, Ike Hopkins.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with David Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Jeffrey Cemetery, Dexter, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
