A very physical game throughout, Coach Donnie Heath was happy with his team’s effort when down 2-0 towards the end of the game saying, “we could have laid down but they were still fighting.”

“I want to give credit to Murray High and Coach Rosa”, Heath said. “They had a plan…it was a very unique plan, but they implemented that pretty well.” Heath added that they will use the game as an opportunity to learn from it.

Murray had nine shots, five on goal, one corner kick and three cards in the very physical game. Two cards including a red were given to senior midfielder Ryan Messinger who will have to sit out the Tigers next two games against Calloway County and Graves County.
