Mrs. Mary Helen Gregory, age 100 died on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Marshall County Hospital. She was retired from Dollar General where she worked as a cashier, and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Born Thursday, June 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Walter Parker and the late Audie Mae (Canup) Parker.
Surviving are daughter, Wanda Kathleen Wyatt of Benton, KY, sister, Martha Lou Noles of Benton, KY, 4 grandchildren, Deana Burkeen, David Randall “Randy” Hall, Neil Russell “Russ” Hall, Dondra Hackney, 10 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Coleman, Amanda Coil, Deidra Burkeen, Justin Hall, Remi Cook, Rady Hall, Amber Hall, Aaron Hall, McKinzie Hackney, Grand Hackney, and 4 great-great grandchildren, Tyler Clapp, Avery Coleman, Blakely Cook, and Riley Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Gregory, son, Donald Rose, daughter, Brenda Hall, brothers, Will Parker, Joe Parker and Rex Parker, and sisters, Dorothy Sue Dunn and Shirley Miller, and 1 grandchild, Dwanna Stafford.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
