2018-2019 Marshall County Preschool Head Start and Early Head Start Registration Marshall County Preschool Head Start Early Head Start will be holding registrations for the 2018-2019 school year on July 26th 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Woodmen Building, 1005 Poplar Street in Benton. No appointment is necessary for this date and children are not required to attend. Interested families are encouraged to pick up additional registration information and forms prior to July 26th. Registration packets can be picked up anytime at the rear door of the Marshall County Preschool Office, 905 Joe Creason Drive in Benton.
To register for preschool, the child must be a Marshall County resident and age 3 or 4 by August 1, 2018. Eligibility is based upon federal income guidelines or developmental delay or disability, regardless of income.
Early Head Start is a home-based option for pregnant moms and children up to the age of 3 which provides child development education and family support. Families must meet income guidelines to qualify.
Marshall County Preschool Screenings will be held in August for those children who did not complete the screening in April. Screenings are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, contact the Preschool Office after July 23rd. Developmental screenings are available to any child residing in Marshall County who turns 3 or 4 by August 1, 2018.
