Mr. Glenn Alexander, age 76 of Benton, KY died on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY. He was the owner of Benton Electric Supply for the past 33 years, and was a member of the IBEW Local 816 for 16 years. He was also a member of First Baptist Church, Benton, KY.
Born Friday, June 27, 1941 in Marshall County, KY, he was the son of the late Carl Alexander and the late Willa (Newton) Alexander.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Jeanette (Herndon) Alexander of Benton, KY, sons, Kevin Alexander, wife Paula of Symsonia, KY, Stephen Alexander of Benton, KY and Brian Alexander of Benton, KY, sister, Kathleen Myers of Benton, KY, and grandchildren, Ross Williams of Cunningham, KY, Dylan Williams of Symsonia, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Mike Alexander, daughter, Kelly Renee Alexander, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Don Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
