Recently, the Marshall County Hospital and the Marshall County Hospital Auxiliary, gave four academic scholarships to qualifying high school senior students entering college with a concentration in health careers.
Recipients are Sydney Mott, Hailey Trexler, Allee Noles and Kylee Alonzo.
The Marshall County Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary each fund several scholarships annually to deserving and qualified students. Qualifications include taking the health career course of studies offered at MCHS,
maintaining an overall “B” average, and an “A” average in health career curriculum. Students must plan to pursue studies in a health related career.
“We are fortunate to have a generous group of volunteers that donate to the hospital and the community in so many ways. Funds raised from their various fundraisers throughout the year support this scholarship effort.
Marshall County High School’s Nursing Co-Op teacher Tamara Hodges does a great job of preparing their students, through the health careers curriculum, to further their studies in a health career. We are proud of these students and wish them well.”
