Mrs. Peggy June (Jackson) Gregory, age 83 of Benton, KY passed away Tuesday, March
13, 2018, at her home. She was a member of Brooks Chapel United Methodist Church and
was a retired bookkeeper for the Bank of Marshall County and the Bank of Benton.
Born Wednesday, October 17, 1934 in Dexter, KY, she was the daughter of the late
Oman Jackson and the late Eva Mae (Burkeen) Jackson.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Eugene Gregory of Benton, KY, two daughters;
Martia York of Benton, KY, and Mayda Ragsdale, husband Don of Murray, KY, sister,
Daytha Dowdy of Benton, KY, three grandchildren; Adam Ragsdale of Hopkinsville, KY,
Jacob York, wife Galen of Atlanta, GA, and Whitney Ragsdale of Murray, KY. Also,
three great-grandchildren; Carson, Cody, and Camden.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018 in the chapel of
the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Robert
McKinney and Rev. Sam Chambers officiating.
Interment will follow in Brooks Chapel Cemetery, Dexter, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday,
March 15, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
