Mary Elizabeth York, 90 of Benton, Kentucky died on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, Kentucky.
Born Wednesday, April 6, 1927 in Benton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Cletus Downing and the late Gracie Baker Downing. She was the office clerk for Sportsmans Lodge and was a member of Hamlet Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Londal York of Benton, KY; sons, Russell York wife Katana of Benton, KY and Randy York wife Tammie of Benton, KY; 8 grand children; 12 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Latayette Downing.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Glen Cope and Rev. Jack Studie officiating.
Interment will be in Hamlet Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home.
