Mrs. Georgia Mae Lindsay, age 88 of Benton, KY died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Sanctuary Church of God and was a retired cook for the Illinois House.
Born Friday, January 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Birdie Dell (Tindle) Kuhn.
Surviving are sons, Edward Lindsay and wife Debbie of Peoria, IL, Otha L. Lindsay and wife Eunice of Winter Haven, FL and Robert W. Lindsay and of Benton, KY, daughters, Brenda Vincent of Benton, KY, Wanda Bilyeu of Rosine, KY and Christine Woods and husband Chris of Paducah, KY, brother, Frank Sherman Kuhn of Bloomington, IL, sister, Margaret Felkey of Missouri; 31 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis Lindsay, son, James Gary Lindsay, and daughter, Elizabeth Kay Roach and son-in-law Carmon Vincent.
A Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Albert Gaboriault officiating.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
