Kentucky State Police troopers have found and arrested an inmate who escaped last month from Marshall County.

According to KSP, deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Department received information on Saturday, Jan. 6 that escaped inmate Jeremy Meadows was at a residence on Ky. Highway 408 East in Graves County. Troopers and deputies conducted a search of the home and found Meadows allegedly hiding in a closet.
Meadows, 27, of Water Valley, had been on the lam since Dec. 7, when he walked away from a work detail at the Marshall County Caring Needline. Meadows reportedly left the premises and got into a vehicle driven by Tammy C. Lamb, 44, of Murray. Lamb was later found and arrested on suspicion of second-degree escape for her alleged role in Meadows’ escape.
Meadows faces additional charges of second-degree escape. He was arrested Saturday and taken to Graves County Jail in Mayfield.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.
