Benton Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals who were involved in an incident at the Joe Creason Community Center.
According to BPD, sometime between Nov. 30 and Dec. 5, unknown suspects allegedly entered the community center, removed a fire extinguisher from the wall and sprayed the building down with it. The incident resulted in “an extremely large mess,” according to BPD and resulted in the cancellation of reservations for the space.
The incident is being treated as a criminal mischief investigation, which remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the alleged incident is asked to contact Benton Police Department through dispatch at 270-527-1333, or message officers through the department’s Facebook page.
