Hilda Mae Norwood, 80, of Benton, died on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Marshall County Hospital E.R. in Benton. She was a member of Olive United Methodist Church.
Born Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1936, in Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Clelon Byars and the late Molene Holt Byars.
She is survived by her husband, Wendell Norwood of Benton; two sons, Keith Norwood and wife Dee, and David Norwood and wife Jessica, all of Benton; two daughters, Belinda Creason and husband Ricky of Hardin and Carolyn Dunn and husband Ron Parrett of Hardin; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Rev. Rick D. Miller will be officiating. Interment will be in Olive Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home.
