McFarlan Road in Calvert City will be closed to through traffic from Thursday, Sept. 28 through mid-day on Friday, Sept. 29. The closure is to allow Paducah and Louisville Railway to make emergency repairs to the rail tracks at the P&L railroad crossing on McFarlan Road.
This closure is for through traffic only. Residents and property owners will have limited access to their property. (i.e., If their property is north of the RR crossing, their access would be from Shar-Cal Road.) All those traveling in the area should be aware of workers.
