Deputies respond to DUI crash, serve warrants

Sgt. Tim Reynolds at 9:51 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25 was stationary on Purchase Parkway when he observed three motorcycles speeding. Reynolds conducted a traffic stop, however one of the motorcycles fled and was not found. As a result of the investigation, Reynolds charged the other two motorcycle operators as follows:
William Jackson III of Newbern, Tenn., was arrested and charged with no motorcycle operators license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and carrying concealed deadly weapon. 
Corey Rashon Jurnett of Halls, Tenn., was charged with no motorcycle license. He was cited to court and released.

Deputy Jason Ivey at 12:09 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25 served an arrest warrant on Bryan C. Riley, 37 of Benton. The charges were Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Off ( Methamphetamine ) and Drug Paraphernalia- Buy / Poss.

Deputy Chris Greenfield at 4:20 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, served a bond revocation at the Marshall County Detention Center. Derek Baier, 26, of Benton was served the revocation.

Deputy Eddie Mcguire 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, responded to Little Cypress Road in reference to a non injury crash. As a result of the investigation Michelle E. Oxford of Houston, Texas, was arrested and charged with DUI. Oxford was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
