W.J. ‘Heavy’ English, Jr.

Mr. W.J. “Heavy” Inglish, Jr., age 90 of Calvert City, KY died on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Home Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was retired from B.F. Goodrich and was a member of Southland Baptist Temple. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII and a member of the Symsonia Masonic Lodge #917.

Born Sunday, May 14, 1927 in Marshall County, KY, he was the son of the late W.J. Inglish Sr. and the late Nancy Deborah (White) Inglish.

Surviving are his wife, Leota Irene (Bailey) Inglish of Calvert City, KY, daughters, Donna Reed Dexter, husband Ronnie of Calvert City, KY and Diane Wade, husband Emmil of Calvert City, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Inglish.

A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Jewell Barrett officiating.

Interment with Military Rites will follow in Fooks Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
